ATMOSPHERE

Bringing back the 'late-night dessert spot', Atmosphere offers a cosy, modern space to meet and enjoy desserts of every kind. With little indoor trees blossoming with flowers dotted throughout the interior, it feels like you've stumbled upon a little dessert bar tucked away somewhere in Europe.

Their menu is extensive and seriously delicious! Think crepes, waffles, donuts, Dutch pancakes, brownies, acai, specialty soft serve and shakes - all finished with decadent sauces and toppings.

LUKUMADES

LUKUMADES

A traditional Greek dessert, loukoumades have long been well-known in Greece and across the ditch, but are now being made popular in New Zealand with Lukumades bringing their special recipe to Auckland. They've come a long way from their little food truck in Melbourne and share that their recipe has been perfected with insider secrets from their relatives in Greece. Once you try these delectable balls of dough, you'll be going back for more.

The classic combination of honey and cinnamon is hard to beat, but with every type of sauce and topping on offer you can test out your favourite combo. There's also gelato to add and coffee to be had - for the full experience try one of their authentic Greek coffees.

SHIBBYS

SHIBBYS

Frozen yoghurt but taken to the next level. With a toppings bar spanning the length of the store - you'll find every treat you could possibly imagine to add to your frozen yoghurt masterpiece. Warm pouring chocolate and speciality sauces greet you at the final step so it would be rude not to add them.

There are eight classic frozen yoghurt flavours to choose from, including dairy-free options, and with new toppings added regularly you can switch it up every time. On our visit The Treatory Cookie Dough seduced us, so naturally we're now hooked on that.

Always buzzing, Shibbys definitely feels like the new spot to catch up and share a sweet treat at any time of day or night - much like Starbucks in the noughties. Take us back....

CHOCOMELT

CHOCOMELT

Making its mark on Nuffield Street, Chocomelt is also channelling the European dessert bar vibe but they're taking one thing very seriously... the Italian classic - Tiramisu. With new flavours appearing daily - you'll find these beautifully presented, lusciously layered delights taking centre stage at their Tiramisu and Pudding Bar.

The ever-indulgent Italian-style hot chocolate is also on the menu, finished off with torched Swiss meringue! Their Cinnacones and many other specialty drinks will sing sweet nothings to you if we haven't tempted you already.
